Anger Management: Part One, Just Grin and Bear it.

Snarling, barking, growling. Fury flows through the wolf’s veins as he throws himself upon the bars of the metal cage that entraps him. He is angry, he had always been angry, his pack had thrown him out for being angry, and now he was captured because he had been too angry to let the humans that had attacked him win. Anger is what keeps him alive, anger at anything and everything.
A cloth is thrown over the cage, sinking the wolf into darkness. He snaps angrily at the material and the bars bruise his muzzle. The covering is too far out of his reach, but that does not stop him, he blunts his teeth and bangs his muzzle against the metal, all the while howling and snapping furiously.
Lupus, he remembered, Lupus was his name. He hated it, hated his mother for naming him it, hated his den mates and his pack, hated the world. A jolt goes through the cage as he realizes that it is moving, someone is carrying it somewhere.
“But wherever they carry it,” Lupus thinks, “it will never be far enough away from my jaws.”
The cage jolts again as it is put down, then the material is pulled back. A human female stares in at him. Instantly Lupus goes crazy with rage, snapping and barking until his throat hurts, but the female with the blonde coat just watches him. Finally she speaks.
“He’s going to need some training if he’s going to be a feasible test subject. Put him in with Valhalla, she’ll soften him up.”
Some understanding of this filters through to Lupus’s brain. They would put him with another animal. “I will tear them apart! I will tear you all apart!”
The blonde female steps back from the onslaught of barking, then smirks.
“We might even need to pair him with some others later if that temper doesn’t cool down.” She says, then steps away from the cage and lets the material fall back down. Before the light is extinguished the wolf catches a glimpse of himself. White fur covering his entire body except for his muzzle and belly, which are a dark black. Still quite small for a wolf, on the borderline between cub and adult, only about 75cm long and built quite leanly.
The cage jolts as it is picked back up again, then after a short trip is put down. The wolf can smell another animal now, but is unable to discern the scent. He bares his fangs and tenses his muscles for an attack as soon as the cage opens.
The cloth is whipped off and the metal door swings open. The wolf instantly charges at the source of the scent. He does not need his eyes to find his prey. He briefly glimpses a large white shape before he leaps, jaws wide, at his target.
He tries to sink his teeth into fur, but is stopped by tough skin and knotted muscle beneath. Instead, his graceful leap turns into a crash landing as he bounces off the creature and lies stunned on the ground.
A very large, ominous shadow passes over the bewildered wolf. He hears slow, heavy steps get closer as the shadow increases. His vision unblurs and he finds himself looking up at the largest creature he had ever seen.
Its stood just over a meter and a half tall, and was easily two meters long. It was completely covered in white fur like Lupus, but was about four times his size. Each of its paws could at least cover his entire head, if not his upper body as well, and the entire creature was built of a combination of fat and thick muscle.
He looked up at the largest polar bear he had ever seen. Valhalla
It glare balefully down its muzzle at him, then picked grabbed him by the throat with one paw and lifted him up to its natural eye level. Lupus yelped and kicked but was unable to free himself from its grasp. His eyes desperately swiveled around in his head, looking for some way out of the predicament.
“We had wolves like you where I came from”, the words passed straight from the polar bear to the wolf without any sound being uttered, yet the voice was female and strongly accented in Norwegian, “then I came along, and cleared the problem up.”
She snuffed at the wolf, taking in Lupus’s scent and memorizing it.
“But apparently, the problem hasn’t been fully cleared yet”. She continued. “But we must deal with these things on step at a time if we are to stamp out the problem”
She dropped the wolf to the hard earth and raised one forepaw high above him. A few clods of dirt dropped from the paw and bounced of the wolf’s head. He looked up feebly and, noticing the paw, tried to quickly scramble to his feet, eyes wide in horror.
Valhalla grinned down at him and brought her paw slamming down hard on the wolf’s back, making him yelp loudly in shock and pain. The bear then started to slowly press her weight onto her front paw, slowly squishing the wolf beneath her, then rock back and forth with that paw, grinding the wolf further into the dirt.
Eventually after enough of this punishment she lifted her foot off the wolf and watched as he feebly tried to get to his feet, feeling quite a bit thinner than before the brutal punishment. When he was about halfway to his feet, the paw came back down, this time the front of the foot and toes crashing down on the wolf’s head.
Valhalla held him there for a little while, then lifted the back of her foot and let the ball of the foot bear all of the weight, flattening the wolf head beneath it. She then lifted the foot off him completely and placed it down in front of him. Before he could move, though, her hindpaw landed upon him heavily, knocking the air out of his lungs, and making him realize, she was walking over him!
Before he could react to this new knowledge, she had stepped off of him with her hindpaw and had turned around for another trampling run. The paws crashed down on him again and again, and each time he yelped and whimpered in agony. Finally after the tenth run over him she stopped with all for paws covering him so that only his tail and the tip of his nose remained visible while her crushing weight pressed him flatter and flatter.
A smile spread across Valhalla’s face as she considered what to do next. She already had an idea in mind, but was it too cruel on the wolf cub? No, she decided, it was just right.
She bent down with all four legs; muscles tensed to the extreme while the wolf cried out beneath her, then in one graceful motion, sprang half a meter into the air and spread all four legs out.
The wolf was already half of his normal thickness from the constant stomping and he looked up perplexedly at the sudden cessation of weight. His heart stopped at what he saw, but he couldn’t move and was powerless to stop it. All he could do was whimper pitifully at the shape descending quickly on him.
Valhalla fell like a fiery comet, bellyflopping massively on top of the poor wolf cub. The ground cracked around her form as she landed, and creating a deep impact on the hard earth. The sound of the landing echoed around the chamber with a deep, resonating ‘booooom’, which shook the reinforced walls and ceiling.
Once the echo had faded away, Valhalla relaxed herself on top of the squished wolf, and with smug satisfaction, promptly fell asleep, her huge body covering the entire wolf except for the tip of his paws, which poked out from underneath her fat belly.
~~
Hours passed as the wolf wriggled, squirmed and whined beneath her as she slumbered deeply, sometimes grinding her body on top of Lupus as she slept, her snores deafening to the ear.
Eventually she slowly struggled out of her sleep, yawned deeply, stretched, and then stood up to inspect her work.
The crater she had created was a perfect mould of her body, down to her legs and head. The crater where her belly had landed on the wolf was a perfectly smooth and round hole, with a faint, wolf-like imprint in the dead centre.
But she was puzzled, Lupus had disappeared. She knew he couldn’t have escaped her body slam, and that she had landed on him, but surely there would be something left of him?
Her question was answered by a faint tickling on her belly. She tilted her head so that she could see between her legs, and roared with laughter. Stuck to her underside was a perfectly flattened, thin-as-paper wolf. She continued to laugh hysterically as she reached onto her belly with one paw and peeled the wolf off, then held him in front of her to be examined.
He was as flat as she would ever be able to get him. Lupus was now about 5mm thin and flopped around in the breeze like paper. Imprinted on his face was the look of horror he had worn when he had seen her about to crash down on top of him. His eyes were round as saucers and his tongue had been squashed out of his mouth so that it had been flattened straight in front of him. His whole appearance was so comical that Valhalla had to put him down to go and roll around with laughter at his flattened state.
After the tears of laughter had finally cleared from her eyes, she stomped back over to the 2D wolf and smiled down at him.
“One final thing before I go,” she said to him as she picked him up and placed him lip-to-lip with her, then blew. As the air was forced back into his body he began to return to his normal state. When he was fully restored she dropped him back on the ground, where he promptly fell over.
As he lay panting on the ground, Valhalla positioned herself so that the wolf was exactly perpendicular to her, creating a capital ‘T’ where she was the top line.
Lupus glared up at her and slowly got to his feet while she just stood there, smiling tauntingly down at the wolf. Then fell over onto him.
No amount of alacrity could have saved the wolf. As the mountain of white fur, fat and muscle descended onto him, he desperately tried to scramble away to no avail. Valhalla’s side landed on Lupus’s top half heavily, leaving his hind feet to scrabble franticly to free his now flat top half from the massive creature.
Valhalla only smiled and leisurely rolled over the wolf cub with a satisfying ‘squuiiisshhh...’ like some massive steamroller or rolling pin, flattening all beneath it to dust.
She reached the other side of the wolf quite quickly, then allowed her body to roll back over the wolf again, finishing anything that was still 3D. Three more times she steamrolled the white wolf, until it would be hard to scrape him off the ground. Then she stood and slowly walked back to her pen at the other side of the enclosure.
Before she disappeared into the darkness of her corral, she glanced back at what might as well have been a drawing of a wolf on the ground. And winked.
“I’m sure we’ll meet again, and next time they’ll be scraping you up for weeks.”
Her footfalls grew softer as the wolf whimpered to himself, He had to find a way out of this place now.
First squash/flatten story i've finished and uploaded to DA. The plot thusfar which i didn't want to bother you with is this: Lupus captured by crazy group of scientists doing animal experimentation, meets other animals who all seem to want to squash him.

I've been a huge fan of the Squash community on DA for a while and have definatly been inspired by artists and writers such as Kazecat and Vengefuldragon.
Should have a sequel to this up soon, with even bigger animals trying to squish our hero.

And yes, the pun in the title was absolutely nessecary.

Wow, very nice indeed! Although a bit hard to read, I got the gist of it and you're really good! Nice squishing antics! You really are a master, like I've witnessed in our role-plays! I really, REALLY want to write one now!
